Board of Commissioners and Staff

President- Carrie Bernardoni
Carrie Bernardoni was elected a Commissioner of the Justice Park District in April 2019. She is a graduate of Columbia College in Chicago with a degree in Marketing and Public Relations. She has extensive volunteer experience with ISD 109 where she helped revitalize the Parents for Education group. She is also an active volunteer in the Religious Education Department at Saint Patricia Parish. Carrie is employed as a Senior Property Tax Analyst. Carrie, her husband and their three daughters have lived in Justice since 2009.

Vice President- Larry Noyes
Larry is a 49 year retired resident of Justice who likes biking, hiking, old cars, and maintaining his home. Larry enjoys walking around the park, participating in events and working with the park district. He states all these things help with trying to stay ahead of "father time.

Secretary- Tabatha Sutera
Tabatha Sutera was elected as a Commissioner in April 2019 to the Justice Park Board. She has been a lifelong resident of Justice; she and her husband are now raising their four children in Justice. Tabatha has coached her daughter's softball team for three years, as well as assisted in coaching her youngest son's tee-ball team for the past two years. Tabatha is actively involved in the Parents For Education at Brodnicki in School District 109. Tabatha is employed as an assistant preschool teacher. Tabatha would like to see a vibrant park district with lots of energy and fun, interactive programs for our children, residents, and families alike!

Treasurer- Mark Leahy
Mark Leahy was elected as a Commissioner in April 2021 to the Justice Park Board. He is a graduate of Governors State University with a degree in Information Systems and Technology. He has a personal interest in community involvement and volunteerism. He is also an active member of Two Holy Martyrs Church.
Mark is currently employed as a Cyber Security Consultant and pursuing a master’s degree in cyber security. He is a lifelong resident of Justice. He will be serving as Treasurer of the park district. Mark is looking forward to the opportunity to serve his community and to help make the park district a thriving foundation for the entire community.

Commissioner- Tom Bosworth
Tom Bosworth was appointed as a Park District Commissioner in September 2021. Tom is an active volunteer with area Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for the past 36 years. He serves as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Fabian Parish. Tom is the owner of a first aid and safety education company. He and his wife have been residents of Justice for 29 years, where they raised their two sons. They have four grandsons who enjoy playing in Veteran’s Park. Tom is looking forward to working with his fellow commissioners to provide exciting, equitable, and safe park district activities and facilities for all village residents.

Executive Director- Jennifer Bonbrake
Jennifer Bonbrake was appointed as the Executive Director of the Justice Park District in August 2021. She is a graduate of Governors State University with a Masters Degree in Public Administration. She has experience in several different fields of event planning and programming from neighboring park districts, libraries, and municipalities. Jennifer looks forward to creating a more functional and efficient park district that the Village of Justice residents deserve! She is very excited for this wonderful opportunity to revamp the Justice Park District and cannot wait to see what the future holds!
